I don’t think about the future very often. Planning for the future is one thing, but actually imagining where I’ll be in five years scares the hell out of me. I do things in the now; things that will have an effect on where I’m going and who I’ll become, because, well, that’s how life works. That’s not to say I’m not concerned with my future, it’s just that the decisions I’m making are as important to the present me as they will be to the future me.
